I came on staff at SMBC in October 2010. I have been in ministry for over sixteen years starting at age 18. I have served as Pastor in churches in Missouri, Louisiana, and Arkansas. I am a 2005 graduate of the BMA Seminary, Jacksonville, TX and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. I am also a certified Evangelism Explosion (EE) teacher-trainer. I believe that evangelism and discipleship are two critical aspects that are often over-looked in our society. My goal is to teach others how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and then help them to grow spiritually. In March 2011, I completed training as a Transformational Church Consultant. My prayer is to help the local church accomplish her mission within her community.
My wife, Tonya, is also very involved with me in ministry. We have three children: Micah, age 11; Mitchell, age 10; and Mikayla, age 8. We enjoy serving God together and are glad to be part of Northwest Arkansas. Tonya has a passion for teaching, working with children's ministries, and also for sharing Christ with the world.
We know that ministries play a crucial role in the lives of young people. We seek to build a solid, Biblical foundation for students of all ages to equip them as they grow. We are well aware of the importance to know what you believe and why you believe it. Our goal as teachers is to build up young men and women to be all they can be for Christ.
