For sure that you are going to heaven? If God were to ask you, “Why
should I let you into My heaven?” what would you tell Him? Not
sure? Then let me share with you the best news you could ever hear!
Did you know the Bible tells how you can know for sure that you have
eternal life and will go to be with God in heaven? 1 John 5:13
The Bible says there are five (5) things you need to know about eternal
life:
- Heaven, eternal life, is a free gift (Romans 6:23); it is not earned or deserved (Ephesians 2:8-9). Why can’t anyone earn a way to heaven? Because…

Like putting on a parachute, you are resting on Christ alone and what He has done (not in what you or I have done) to get to heaven. Acts 16:31.
So, would
you like to receive God’s gift of eternal life? It
means that you need to:
Transfer your trust to Christ (from what you have been doing to what
Christ has done on His cross).
Accept Christ as Savior (realize you cannot save yourself; invite Christ
into your life).
Receive Christ as Lord (give Him control of your life; make Him the
boss).
Repent (ask God to forgive you; tell Him you’re sorry for your
sins; be willing to turn from anything that is not pleasing to Him).
If that is what you really want, you can go to God in prayer right
where you now (Romans 10:10, 13).
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But
I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for
me. Jesus, come into my life; take control of my life; forgive my sins
and save me. I repent of my sins and place my trust in You alone for
my salvation. I accept Your gift of eternal life. Thank you for saving
me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you are sincere in this prayer, Jesus promises you have eternal
life (John 6:47). Welcome to the family of God!
